Meet Dr. Tessler
Dr. Alexis Tessler is a board-certified orthodontist who specializes in creating harmony between her patients’ teeth and jaws, utilizing science and aesthetics to achieve the best possible results. Since childhood, she has been fascinated by the field of dentistry, and after having a wonderful experience with her own pediatrics dentist, realized that pursuing a career in this field was her calling.
A graduate of the University of Michigan (and Ann Arbor native), Dr. Tessler next earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific. Her education then took her back to Michigan to receive her Master of Science in Orthodontics. Committed to excellence in her field, Dr. Tessler is active in continuing her education through regular attendance at local and national professional association meetings. She holds certifications from the American Board of Orthodontists, the American Association of Orthodontists, and the American Dental Association, where she is a regular speaker as well.
Dr. Tessler loves helping people and being a part of her patients’ lives. She feels truly fortunate to have a job where she is fulfilled by improving the health and happiness of others. In her spare time, Dr. Tessler enjoys traveling, exercising, and volunteering.

What to expect
With a bilingual staff and specific amenities for special needs patients, we’re here to make sure each patient’s individual needs are being met to the best of our abilities. From your first visit with us, we want you to feel comfortable, confident, and right at home. You’ll check in with the front desk first before making yourself at home in our waiting area. When it’s time to see the doctor, one of our Registered Dental Assistants will get you prepped before Dr. Tessler gives you a comprehensive exam and discusses your orthodontic care needs.
